THEATER LIGHTING
 Mica Lighting is naturally suited to the theater arts,
where light is traditionally used in fascinating ways. One of our specialties is the theater aisle lighting, which employs a second major type of fiber optic technology
called 'side lighting.' We also have traditional forms of low voltage aisle lighting available
Unlike the 'end lighting' used in animated display panels,
side lighting involves thicker mono filament fibers—up to 17.3 mm in diameter—-that emit white or colored light along their entire length when a light source is applied at one end.

The 'Evening with Emile' curtain adds an unforgettable signature graphic to this artist's performance. The 36 x 18
foot curtain contains over 14,000 fiber optic filaments that dazzle audiences with stellar effects and exploding colors.
 The familiar theater concession board panel enters a fascinating new dimension when Mica Lighting applies its creative flair. A glinting stream of lights cascade, as a

 Fiber optics can add a cool elegance as shown on the
entrance to this custom designed residence. Stair lengths of up to 90 feet in a continuous run can be achieved.
Light is transmitted over the entire length of the cable without electricity or heat making installation in wet
locations a snap. A single light source can provide light at multiple locations, reducing maintenance and related costs. A color wheel mounted inside the light source allow for the steps colors to change. Fiber

Landscape Lighting
 We are now proud to bring you our range of landscape lighting. Now you
can economically and safely light your garden and landscaping with a broad range of fixtures. Designed to accommodate any landscape design, these fixtures can change color adding subtle drama and mood
in the landscape environment. Illumination sources are placed in dry locations, and there is no danger from electricity at the fixture itself, as light is supplied by safe non-conductive fiberoptics.
Projects:
 Mica Lighting designed a prototype tabletop display for the
Bose® Corporation that performs a dazzling reveal of the Bose name in lights. Changing color several times, and painting a shimmering border, it finishes with a cascade of twinkling stars.
 For the 1996 Olympics, Mica Lighting created a memorable thematic display. The Olympic torch and flame
are etched in colored pinpoints of light, followed by a glittering reveal of the words "Atlanta '96." Animated graphics vanish in a matte black
background and are replaced by fireworks bursting into the sky.
 Working with designers for AT&T®, Mica
Lighting used fiber optics to illuminate two large, horseshoe-shaped hospitality bars to be used at the 1996 Olympics. Each bar contains seven animated AT&T logos, with each logo containing
carefully placed acrylic 1,200 fibers. In order to meet AT&T schedule, the project was completed in record time.
