Side Beam Stranded Fiber Optic Cable is a bundle of small diameter
fiber optic strands that can transmit light over reasonably long distances. Light is transmitted over the entire length of the stranded fiber optic cable
without electricity, or heat. Like solid core fiber optic cable, the light source is an illuminator that is placed at one or both ends of the fiber.
Color wheels can be added to the illuminator to change the color of the fiber to as many as eight colors. See also our end light fiber optic cable

Side Beam Solid Core Fiber Optic Cable:
SideBeam fiber optic cable is a single large diameter mono-filament which can transmit light over reasonable long distances. Light is
transmitted over the entire length of the solid core optic without electricity, or heat. The light source is an illuminator which is place at one or both ends of the fiber. Color wheels can be added to the
illuminator to change the color of the fiber to as many as eight colors.
Utilizing a recently perfected production process called continuous casting, Side beam solid
core optical fiber can now achieve brilliant color clarity and a continuous bright light transmission that was not possible in earlier solid core fibers. A crystal clear Teflon sleeve
and excellent core/cladding adhesion gives a high intensity brightness along the entire length of the optic cable.
The optic fiber is energy efficient, flexible, and requires virtually no maintenance. It is
available in a smooth surface, or frosted. The sizes are 6.0mm, 14.0mm and 17.3mm. The fiber comes in continuous lengths of 100 feet and 200 feet.
As an alternative to neon, solid core fiber optic cable can be used as a decorative media to
outline buildings, highlight architectural features and exterior signage. it has additional applications in underwater lighting of swimming pools and spas, backlighting of signage,
glass block lighting, cove lighting and landscape lighting.

End Light Fiber:
End Beam, or End Lit, Fiber, simple in its basic structure, meets a
wide range of applications. It is a creative concept for interior or exterior signage and P.O.P. displays, scale models, floral displays, hobbyists and underwater spectacles in aquariums.
The optical fiber is of the total reflection type which has a concentric double structure consisting of a core of transparent
polymethylmethcrylate (PMMA) of a high refractive index, covered with a thin layer of special transparent cladding material of a low refractive index. The light entering from one end is
transmitted, repeating the total reflection at the interface of the two components, and then discharged from the other end.
The fiber's properties and features of resiliency, transmission of colored light and no short
circuits or sparks provides many opportunities fro new concepts and will help designers to fully utilize their creativity.

Fiber Traq for Lighted Glass and Display
Cases.
Featuring "Fiber Traq", an extruded aluminum housing for multiple points of plastic optical fibers creating a linear distribution of pure
light, eliminating destructive heat, ultraviolet rays or electrical current. The compact housing measures 1" square.
The Fiber Traq system is designed for various applications including cabinets, under
counter lighting and display cases. It can enhance etched acrylic or carved glass to create an illusion of floating in space. This fiber optic lighting system has the benefit of once
installed: the integrity of the design remains untouched. Unlike conventional lighting that requires replacement of lamps that can disturb the display, the illuminator, which houses
the lamp, is conveniently placed as far as 50 feet from the Fiber Traq. This illuminator gives you the options of changing the color of the light or dimming the light.
Also Featuring - Fiber Optic Glass Block Applications:
Glass Blocks can be nicely lighted as shown using
side beam optical fiber. The lighting of glass block can be accomplished by back lighting of the glass block or mortar joint installation (as shown) for effective color changing, or static color, glass block
lighting effects.
