Fiber Optics Product Applications and Advantages:
Fiber optic lighting offers many advantages over neon another types of displays with
multiple bulbs. Maintenance is low because there only one source lamp to replace. and versatility is high. The light source can be positioned remotely, so that displays can be
easily installed on walls, in floors, or even underwater
 Side light, utilizing solid core plastic optical fiber, is used for
decorative lighting, perimeter lighting , steps and underwater lighting for fountains, pools and spas, and a host of other uses. Unlike the 'end lighting' used in animated display panels, side
lighting involves thicker mono filament fibers - up to 17.3 mm in diameter - that emit white or colored light along their entire length when a light source is applied at one end.
 End lit fiber is used for wide range of applications, from signage, P.O.P displays, curtains and special
effects. The fiber diameter ranges from 0.25mm to 3.0mm.
